# Home and Finish setup

> Home is the first screen of your workspace: the steps left in setup, what needs your decision, and how your results are moving.

Open **Home** at the top of the sidebar. The line under the title tells you where things stand:

* **"N steps left before your agent can run everything."** — setup isn't finished yet.
* **"N things need your decision. Everything else is running."** — the agent is waiting on you.
* **"Nothing needs you. Everything is running."** — all clear.

The number on the **Home** item in the sidebar is how many items are waiting for your decision.

## Finish setup

While setup is incomplete, Home shows a row of **Finish setup** cards with a progress count. Each card opens the place where that step is done. You only see the cards for the products on your plan.

| Card | What it does |
| - | - |
| **Finish setup in chat** | A short setup chat, then your agent takes over. |
| **Review your brand profile** | The agent read your site and wrote who you are, your voice and audience — check it in [Brand](/agent/context). |
| **Connect Search Console & Analytics** | SEO. Opens [Integrations](/integrations/overview) filtered to Google. |
| **Choose where to publish** | SEO. Pick where articles go live — Shopify, WordPress, GitHub, Ryze-hosted and others — in [SEO → Preferences](/seo/preferences). If several platforms are connected, it asks you to set the default. |
| **Publish your first article** | SEO. Pick a drafted article in Content Plan and ship it. |
| **Connect an ad account** | Ads. Google, Meta, TikTok — one is enough to start. |
| **Invite team members** | Optional. See [Invite teammates](/workspaces/invite-teammates). |
| **Connect Slack** | Optional. Reports and agent updates in your Slack. See [Slack](/integrations/slack). |
| **Connect Claude** | Optional. Talk to the same workspace from Claude. See [Connect Claude](/claude/connect). |

When only optional cards are left, click **Hide** to remove the row.

## Needs you

The **Needs you** list on the right collects everything waiting on you, marked **Critical**, **Warning** or **Needs decision**: agent proposals, technical issues, articles that failed to publish, and campaigns where the agent asked you a question. Click an item to see the details and act on it — for example **Fix with agent**, or open the page where it lives.

Click **View all** to open the **Inbox**. How to approve, reject and set up notifications: [Inbox and approvals](/agent/approvals).

## When to expect results (SEO)

On SEO plans, Home shows where you are on the usual timeline for new content:

| When | Stage |
| - | - |
| **Week 1** | Setup & first articles |
| **Weeks 2–4** | Google indexes you |
| **Weeks 5–12** | First rankings |
| **Months 3–6** | Traffic compounds |

If something stops the clock, the card says so and gives you the button to fix it — for example **Choose where to publish**, **Fix publishing**, **Finish domain setup**, **Open content plan** or **Connect Search Console**.

Below it you see **Search performance** (impressions, clicks and average position from Search Console) and **AI visibility** (how often AI assistants name you). Details: [Search Performance](/analytics/performance) and [AI Visibility](/seo/ai-visibility).

## Ads on Home

On Paid Ads, Home shows your **Managed Campaigns** with a **Create campaign** button — see [Managed campaigns](/paid-ads/managed-campaigns). If you only have Paid Ads, the top of Home shows **Daily creative inspiration**.
