# Connect Microsoft Clarity

> Connect a Microsoft Clarity project with a Data Export API token so the agent can read scroll depth, engagement time, rage and dead clicks, and popular pages.

Microsoft Clarity connects with a **Data Export API token** for one Clarity project. Once connected, the agent can read behavior analytics: scroll depth, engagement time, rage and dead clicks, and popular pages.

## Step 1 — Generate a token in Clarity

In Clarity, open your project, then **Settings → Data Export → Generate new API token**, and copy it. Each token belongs to one project.

<Note>
  Clarity allows **10 export requests per project per day**, so the agent can pull a limited amount of Clarity data each day.
</Note>

## Step 2 — Connect in Ryze

On the **Integrations** page, click **Connect** on the **Microsoft Clarity** card and fill in:

* **Data Export API token**
* **Project name** (optional) — only used to label this connection, e.g. `Main website`

Click **Continue**.

<Tip>
  After connecting, start a **new chat** so the agent picks up the new integration.
</Tip>

## Troubleshooting

* **Token rejected** — generate a new token in **Settings → Data Export** for the right project and connect again.
* **No more data today** — the project has used Clarity's daily export requests. Try again the next day.
