# Connect Thrad

> Connect Thrad with an API key so Ryze can read and manage campaigns, ad groups, ads, and insights across Thrad and ChatGPT supply.

Thrad connects with an **API key** you create in the Thrad Platform dashboard. Once connected, the agent can read campaigns, ad groups, ads, and insights for your Thrad account — including ads running on ChatGPT supply — and manage them when you ask.

## Step 1 — Create an API key in Thrad

    In the **Thrad Platform** dashboard, go to **Settings → API keys**.

    Create a new key and copy it. Thrad keys start with `ak_`.

<Note>
  Thrad allows **one active key per organization**. If you create a new one, the old one stops working — update Ryze if you rotate it.

## Step 2 — Connect in Ryze

In **Workspace Settings → Integrations**, click **Connect** on the **Thrad** card, paste the key into **API key**, and click **Continue**. Ryze verifies the key and shows the ad account name on the card.

## Troubleshooting

* **Key rejected** — make sure you copied the full key starting with `ak_`, and that it's the currently active key for your organization.
* **Connection stopped working** — someone created a new key in Thrad, which deactivated the one Ryze holds. Paste the new key via **Reconnect**.
