# Connect WooCommerce

> Connect your WooCommerce store with a REST API key so Ryze can report on orders, revenue, refunds, products, customers, and coupons.

WooCommerce connects with a **REST API key** (consumer key and secret). Once connected, the agent can read orders, revenue, refunds, products, customers, and coupons from your store — and update orders or products if you give the key write access.

## Step 1 — Create a REST API key

<Steps>
  <Step title="Add a key">
    In WordPress, go to **WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API → Add key**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose permissions">
    **Read** is enough for reporting. Choose **Read/Write** if the agent should update orders or products.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Copy both values">
    Copy the **consumer key** (starts with `ck_`) and **consumer secret** (starts with `cs_`).
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Step 2 — Connect in Ryze

On the **Integrations** page, click **Connect** on the **WooCommerce** card and fill in:

* **Store URL** — the WordPress site running WooCommerce, e.g. `https://yourstore.com`
* **Consumer key**
* **Consumer secret**

Click **Continue**.

<Tip>
  After connecting, start a **new chat** so the agent picks up the new integration.
</Tip>

<Note>
  To publish articles to a WordPress blog, connect [WordPress](/integrations/wordpress) as well — the WooCommerce connection covers store data.
</Note>

## Troubleshooting

* **"The store must be served over HTTPS"** — WooCommerce keys are only sent over HTTPS. Use your store's `https://` address.
* **"Consumer keys start with ck\_" / "Consumer secrets start with cs\_"** — the values are swapped or incomplete. Copy both again.
* **Updates are rejected** — the key is read-only. Create a new key with **Read/Write** and connect again.
