# AI Visibility

> See how often ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity name your brand for the questions your buyers ask, who they name instead, and which sites they cite.

AI Visibility shows how AI assistants answer the questions your buyers ask — and whether they name you. Open **Analytics → AI Visibility** in the sidebar. It's part of the SEO plans and opens the **GEO** tab of the [Search Performance](/analytics/performance) page.

## What you need

* **Google Search Console** — without it the whole page asks you to connect it. See [Search Console](/integrations/google-search-console).
* **Google Analytics** — the GEO tab uses it to measure traffic from AI assistants, so the tab stays closed until it's connected. See [Google Analytics](/integrations/google-analytics).
* **Prompts** — the questions to ask. Add them in **SEO → Keywords & Prompts**, on the **Prompts** tab: click **Add** and enter one prompt per line, or use **Suggest prompts**. You can track up to 50 prompts. See [Keywords & Prompts](/seo/keywords).

## Which assistants

Every prompt is asked on **ChatGPT**, **Claude**, **Gemini** and **Perplexity**.

## What you see

* **AI Share of Voice** — your rank among the brands named in answers, and how many answers name you.
* **AI answers naming you**, **Your site cited**, **AI Sessions** and the **LLM Optimization Score** from your latest technical audit.
* **Visibility Over Time** — share of answers naming each brand, one point per run.
* **Visibility by Assistant** and **Coverage by Model** — how you do on each assistant.
* **Rankings** — every brand the assistants named across your prompts.
* **Top Domains** — the sites the assistants linked to while answering.
* **Prompts** — every tracked prompt on every assistant, with score, whether you were cited, and the top brand.
* **AI Traffic**, **AI Chats Traffic** and **AI Landing Pages** — visits from AI assistants, from Google Analytics.

## Keeping it fresh

* **Refresh** — at the top of the page. On the GEO tab it re-asks all your prompts on the four assistants and updates the results.
* **Auto-refresh** — on **Keywords & Prompts**, open **Settings** next to Refresh and pick a schedule: **Off** (refresh only when you press the button), **Weekly** or **Monthly**. Off is the default. Auto-refresh also updates your keyword positions from Search Console.

After each scheduled refresh you get an email digest with position moves and your AI visibility. Turn it off under **Workspace Settings → Notifications** → **Keywords and prompts refreshed** — see [Notifications](/workspaces/notifications).

## Getting named more often

Being named depends on the content AI assistants can find and cite. The agent works on this through your [Content Plan](/seo/programmatic) and [Technical Audit](/seo/optimizations); the Top Domains list shows which sites the assistants trust for your topics.
