Connecting Google Ads lets you ask about campaign performance in plain language and lets the agent act on campaigns under your approval settings.

Requirements

  • A Google Ads account with at least read access; standard or admin access to allow changes
  • For agencies, the manager (MCC) account works — you select which client account to connect

Connect

1

Open Integrations

Workspace Settings → Integrations, then Google Ads under Advertising.
2

Authorize

Sign in to Google and approve access.
3

Pick the account

Choose the specific Google Ads account. If you authorized an MCC, select the client account this workspace covers.
Start a new chat afterwards.

What you can ask

Pull the last 7 days of Google Ads spend and break it down by campaign.
Which campaigns have ROAS below 2 this month?
What changed in my account in the last week?

What the agent can do

With approval, the agent can create and adjust campaigns, manage budgets, and generate ad creatives. Actions that change your account require sign-off by default — configure this in Permissions & approvals.
Review approval settings before enabling unattended changes on a live spending account. This is the connection where a misconfiguration costs real money.

Multiple accounts

A workspace can hold several Google Ads accounts — useful for brands running separate accounts by region or business unit. See Connect multiple accounts and Managing multiple accounts.

Troubleshooting

No accounts listed. The authorized Google account has no Ads access, or the account sits under an MCC you did not authorize. Changes rejected. The authorized user likely has read-only access. Google Ads permissions are set in Google, not in Ryze. Data looks delayed. Google Ads reporting lags for recent conversions, particularly view-through and cross-device.
