Google Business Profile is your business listing on Google Search and Maps. Connect it to use Local SEO: map rankings around your office, reviews and replies, posts, and your listing’s categories, description, hours, photos, website and phone.

Requirements

  • A Google account that owns or manages the listing in Google Business Profile
  • A verified listing. For an unverified one Google shares only part of the data: no map coordinates, and reviews may not load.

Connect

1

Open Integrations

Open Integrations in the left sidebar. Use the Search integrations box or the Analytics filter to find Google Business Profile.
2

Click Connect

You’re redirected to Google. Sign in with the account that manages your listing and allow access. The Google screen may show the name of our connection partner rather than Ryze — that’s expected.
3

Choose the Location

Back in Ryze, the Google Business Profile window opens on its own. Pick the Location this workspace works on and click Save.
One connection is one location, and Local SEO in a workspace works on that location. Until a Location is saved, the card shows Require setup — click View to finish. To work on another location, connect it in its own workspace.

Change or remove the location

Click View on the card to see the connected Location. To switch to a different business, disconnect it and connect again, choosing the right Location. If your location isn’t in the list, you signed in with a Google account that doesn’t manage it — reconnect with the one that does. If the Local page says Google has no coordinates for this location yet. Verify the listing on Google and reconnect it., finish verification in Google Business Profile, then reconnect here.

What Ryze uses it for

  • Map rankings — your position on Google Maps from 49 spots around your office, and the businesses that beat you
  • Reviews — every review, which ones need a reply, and posting replies to Google
  • Posts — the posts on your profile and new ones written with AI
  • Business profile — editing categories, description, hours, photos, website and phone
  • Weekly proposals — the agent compares your listing with the map leaders and proposes fixes for your approval
  • AI Marketer chat — ask about reviews, calls, direction requests, website clicks and the searches people find you by
Changes to your public listing — replies, posts, photos, edits — follow your chat’s Tool approvals setting when the agent makes them, and nothing from the weekly proposals is applied without your approval.

Data timing

Google reports profile performance (views, calls, direction requests, website clicks) with a 2–3 day delay. New posts can take 24–48 hours to appear on Google, and Google reviews new photos and listing edits before they show. See Local SEO for how to use everything above.
