Google Analytics supplies the behaviour and conversion side of reporting — what visitors did after arriving. Ryze uses it to tie SEO and ad work to revenue rather than to traffic alone.

Requirements

  • A GA4 property (Universal Analytics is no longer supported by Google)
  • At least Viewer access on the property
  • Ecommerce tracking configured, if you want revenue attribution

Connect

1

Open Integrations

Workspace Settings → Integrations, then find Google Analytics under Analytics.
2

Authorize

Sign in to Google and approve access.
3

Pick the property

Choose the GA4 property for this workspace. If you have several, pick the one matching the store or site.
Start a new chat afterwards.

What Ryze uses it for

  • Traffic by channel, so organic and paid can be separated
  • Conversion and revenue attribution
  • Landing page performance, which feeds CRO work
  • Unified attribution across ads, SEO, and CRO

Multiple properties

You can connect more than one GA4 property in a workspace — useful where a brand runs several domains. See Connect multiple accounts. For separate clients, use a separate workspace.

Troubleshooting

No properties listed. The authorized Google account lacks access. Sign in with an account that has it. Revenue shows as zero. Ecommerce tracking is likely not configured in GA4, or purchase events are not firing. This is a GA4 setup issue, not a Ryze one. Numbers disagree with Shopify. Expected. GA4 and Shopify attribute differently and use different session and conversion definitions. Use each consistently rather than trying to reconcile them exactly. Connection drops. Click Reconnect and re-authorize.
