WooCommerce connects with a REST API key (consumer key and secret). Once connected, the agent can read orders, revenue, refunds, products, customers, and coupons from your store — and update orders or products if you give the key write access.

Step 1 — Create a REST API key

1

Add a key

In WordPress, go to WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API → Add key.
2

Choose permissions

Read is enough for reporting. Choose Read/Write if the agent should update orders or products.
3

Copy both values

Copy the consumer key (starts with ck_) and consumer secret (starts with cs_).

Step 2 — Connect in Ryze

On the Integrations page, click Connect on the WooCommerce card and fill in:
  • Store URL — the WordPress site running WooCommerce, e.g. https://yourstore.com
  • Consumer key
  • Consumer secret
Click Continue.
After connecting, start a new chat so the agent picks up the new integration.
To publish articles to a WordPress blog, connect WordPress as well — the WooCommerce connection covers store data.

Troubleshooting

  • “The store must be served over HTTPS” — WooCommerce keys are only sent over HTTPS. Use your store’s https:// address.
  • “Consumer keys start with ck_” / “Consumer secrets start with cs_” — the values are swapped or incomplete. Copy both again.
  • Updates are rejected — the key is read-only. Create a new key with Read/Write and connect again.
