Contentful connects with a personal access token for the Content Management API. Once connected, programmatic articles publish as entries of your blog post content type, and the agent can manage content in the space.

Step 1 — Get your Space ID and token

1

Copy the Space ID

In Contentful, open Settings → General settings and copy the Space ID.
2

Create a personal access token

Open Settings → CMA tokens → Create personal access token and copy the token (it starts with CFPAT-).
The token acts with your role. Create it from an account that can publish entries in this space.

Step 2 — Connect in Ryze

On the Integrations page, click Connect on the Contentful card and fill in:
  • Space ID — e.g. yadj1kx9rmg0
  • Personal access token
  • Environment (optional) — leave empty to publish to master
  • Blog URL — the public https:// address where your blog posts live, e.g. https://yoursite.com/blog. Ryze uses it to link published articles.
Click Continue. Then choose the Content type your blog posts use — each article becomes one entry of it — and click Save. If articles already publish somewhere else, Ryze asks Publish to Contentful? Click Publish to Contentful to switch new articles there, or keep the current destination. You can change this any time in SEO settings.
After connecting, start a new chat so the agent picks up the new integration.

Troubleshooting

  • “No content types in this environment.” — create a blog post content type in Contentful first, then click View on the card and choose it.
  • “Must be a valid https:// blog URL” — enter the full public address of your blog, starting with https://.
  • Entries aren’t published — the token’s owner can’t publish in this space. Create the token from an account with publishing rights.
  • Card shows Require setup — the Content type wasn’t saved. Click View, choose it, and click Save.
