Ghost connects with a custom integration — a name and Admin API key you create in Ghost that lets Ryze publish posts without sharing your login. Once connected, programmatic articles publish straight to your Ghost site.

Step 1 — Create a custom integration in Ghost

1

Open Integrations

In Ghost Admin, go to Settings → Integrations (search “integrations” in settings to jump there).
The Integrations screen in Ghost Admin
2

Add a custom integration

Click Add custom integration, give it a name like Ryze, and create it.
3

Copy the Admin API Key

On the integration’s page, copy the Admin API Key.

Use the Admin API Key, not the Content API Key. The Admin key is what lets Ryze publish; the Content key is read-only and won’t work.

Step 2 — Connect in Ryze

In Workspace Settings → Integrations, click Connect on the Ghost card and fill in:
  • Blog URL — your Ghost site, e.g. https://myblog.ghost.io
  • Admin API key — the key you just copied
Click Continue. Ryze verifies the connection and shows your site title.

Troubleshooting

  • Key rejected — make sure you copied the Admin API Key (it looks like id:secret), not the Content API Key.
  • Can’t reach the site — the Blog URL must be your Ghost admin domain and use https://. Ghost(Pro) sites use a *.ghost.io domain.
  • Wrong site connected — each key belongs to one Ghost site; create the integration on the site you want to publish to.
